Terms of Service

1. The Service

Stackboo is a directory and weekly launch board for AI tools. Anyone can browse it. To submit a tool or upvote you need an account with a verified email address. We may change, pause or end any part of the Service at any time.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 and give accurate information.
• You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts to inflate upvotes or rankings.

3. Submitting a tool

• Submit only tools you own, build or are authorised to represent, with truthful descriptions and pricing.
• Everything you submit (text, logo, screenshots) must be yours to share and must not infringe anyone's rights, be misleading, illegal, hateful, or contain malware or spam.
• You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and promote it on Stackboo and in our feeds, newsletters and social posts for as long as the listing is live.
• We review submissions and may approve, edit for clarity, decline, hide or remove any listing, including after approval, without liability. We do not have to give a reason, though we usually will.
• A listing may carry a link back to us or a Stackboo badge; where we ask for one as a condition of a particular link type, we may check for it (see StackbooBot).

4. Editorial listings

Some tools are added by us rather than by their makers. They are labelled as our take, are based on public information, and may be out of date. If you represent one of these tools and want a change or removal, email us and we will act promptly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• manipulate upvotes, rankings or click counts, or use bots to do so;
• scrape the Service at a rate or in a way that harms it, or bypass rate limits or security measures;
• probe, attack or disrupt the Service, or try to access other people's accounts or data;
• use the Service to send spam or to harass or impersonate anyone.

We may suspend or delete accounts and content that break these rules.

6. Third-party tools and links

Listings link to websites and products we do not own or control. We do not endorse them or guarantee their quality, pricing, availability or security. Descriptions, prices and free-plan details can change without notice, so check the tool's own site before you buy. Some outbound links may carry a reference tag that tells the destination the visit came from Stackboo. Your use of any third-party tool is between you and its maker.

7. Our content

The Stackboo name, logo, design and our own editorial text belong to us. You may link to the Service and use the badge we provide to show that your tool is listed. Please do not copy the directory, or reuse our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings, rankings or AI-assisted drafts are accurate or complete.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost business arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumers keep any statutory rights that cannot be waived.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account at contact@stackboo.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (licence to content already published, liability, and this section) continue afterwards.

11. Infringement and removal requests

If you believe content on Stackboo infringes your rights or is otherwise unlawful, email us with the page address and what you would like done. We will review it and act where appropriate.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Stackboo is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
