No. Companions talk to you. Veil's twin talks as you, to other people, on your behalf. It's a private proxy — never a companion.
How does the twin work?
You train your twin on how you communicate. When someone messages you and you can't respond, your twin replies in your voice, following boundaries you've set. You approve what matters.
