Week-long AI hackathons for solo builders. Build Monday to Friday with any AI model, then the builders vote the winner.

1) Why chat, not an IDE? The people with the ideas live in WhatsApp, not an IDE — and an IDE gates software behind "can you code." A real dev team isn't something you drive with a cursor; it's something you talk to. So you describe what you need in plain language, and a team builds it, proves it works, and ships it. 2) Who gets the most value? Founders and lean teams with a live product and a backlog bigger than their engineering bandwidth — people who know exactly what the business needs next but can't build it themselves. Steady features and fixes on a real codebase, not "build me a startup from one prompt." 3) How is it different? Others are autocomplete (Copilot, Cursor) or a bot that drops a PR and wishes you luck. SquadCode is a team with a process, over chat: it plans, builds, and actually verifies — real pass/fail proof, a security review, cross-repo contract checks — and it's honest when something's out of scope. "Opened a PR" isn't "it works," and that gap is the moat.
